The housebuilder unveiled two new show homes at the site and had two first-time buyers – who purchased a new home at Roman Fields – cut the ribbon.
Phase two was granted planning permission in August 2017, with work starting the following month.
The first phase of construction delivered 87 new homes to the area, which are now all occupied.
The second phase will be built by Keepmoat in partnership with a land consortium comprising Church Commissioners, Homes England and TWC.

Mick O’Farrell, regional managing director for Keepmoat Homes in the South, said that Roman Fields was a really popular place to live for a number of reasons.
“It is based five miles from the city and the train station, which is great for commuters, but it is also close to local amenities, including shops and schools.
“The homes are ideal for people wanting to get their foot on to the property ladder as they are high quality, but also available at prices people can afford.
“In fact, 72% of all Keepmoat Homes are sold to first-time buyers.”
